Sixties...

With the temperature's slowly dropping,we're heading closer to the Autumn/Winter months, and ever closer to the latest A/W designers trends.

Flicking through the latest issue of Vogue,I was excited to see the strong sixties influences in some of the designers latest collections.

Designers such as Chanel,Prada and Burberry showcased some garments with dropped hem lines,polo necks, shift coats and some peter pan colars...

...I also could'nt help notice the very sleek,bold eyeliner and bouffants on the catwalk. 

This inspired me to try out this make up technique along with some styling.
This look is classic and timeless,so I could'nt resist trying it out...

Styled Tye Dye

I hit the shops yesterday,ready to splash my birthday money. I spent every penny,not that I had much to begin with, but with the summer sales everywhere,I could'nt resist. 

Especially the Topshop sale,found some real bargains,like my new tye dye trousers.

 I know, I think they might be a required taste,you'll either hate them or love them, and I certainly do love them.

I also almost bought some amazing tye dye leggings in the sale for only ten pounds!

I'd love to know what happens to women,when they see sale signs?! They go crazy,like vulchers, Topshop was'nt even busy yesterday,and I got knocked and pushed out the way,god knows how many times?!

I really love the pleated detailing round the waist of the trousers, it makes the trousers slighty more flattering to wear, and there super comfortable. I also bought the cross bracelet form Topshop,for only £5.00, and it was'nt even in the sale.

Though I'm happy with my new pur-chases,like most girls,there's always something else you want,or see when you make your way out the shop,so below is the few things I spotted,and really wanted but could'nt afford...

1950's black and white photography beautifully captures the classic beauty of such icons as Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn,as seen in the images above. As I mentioned in my previous post Black and White, the monochrome colouring,tones and shades,really capture the light and detail of an image and strip it back to it's rawest form, which is really inspiring.

I also experimented with this technique myself and with some styling in my previous post,so for this post I wanted to try and re-create some Hollywood Glamour...
