Traveller Girl Back Packs

I posted a short while ago the second outfit I made with a plain Back Pack which I had bought, as I was short on time to make three Bags for the Fashion Show.

So to give the Back Packs a 'Traveller Girl' twist and to suit my theme, I hand stitched floral and plaid fabrics to the bags, adding some quirky detail with some feathers and tags.

Shoes I chose for the Fashion Show.

Graduate Fashion Show 2012

Graduate Fashion Show 2012.

Thursday 24th May:Was the day of the WSA Graduate Fashion Shows.

The day was hectic, starting with packing up the vans of all 46 Students collections, organising dressers and models for the 2pm and 5pm shows, and hair and make up.

It was hectic, but the atmosphere was buzzing with excitment, everyones hard work over the past few months, was finally going to be debut infront of a large audience.

I was'nt close enough to be able to get good enough photo's and film, but there was a professional photographer there taking hundreds of photo's, so hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on some of them.

It was an incredible moment seeing my work on the runway, to see my collection put all together, and styled, finally seeing it as whole finished collection. Not only watching my own work, but every students collections were incredible and so inspiring to watch, with such a diverse range in design and personal style.

Ready For Graduate Fashion Show

I'm so excited to of completed my collection; all pressed, organised and handed in,with accessories made,bags customised and six pairs of shoes bought.

All ready for the Fashion Show this Thursday.

Soon I will post photos of my photoshoot, but for now here's my new outfit, for graduate fashion week, after all this hard work, I had to do some retail therapy!

Hopefully I'll get a good seat at the Fashion Show, close enough to take some great photo's of my collection on the runway, which I will post photo's of.

I am very lucky that this photoshoot was completely arranged and done by my Programme leader at University, in prepartion for all the Promotions for the Winchester School of Art shows 2012,to be printed on posters,flyers and newspapers.

I can only imagine what a task it must of been to shoot&model all the Fashion and Fashion for Textiles students outfits in two days, the result is amazing, I look forward to shooting the rest of my outfits.

With three outfits made,I have three more to go, and with all my accessories finished, I'm organised and looking forward to the Graduate Fashion Shows.
